The 2011 Banquet of Champions is set for February 25th, 2012 at Tom's Country place in Avon, Ohio. Social Hour will begin at 5:30 with dinner being served at 6:30. The awards ceremony will begin shortly after dinner.
Tickets are $35.00 per person.

USAC Midgets return to LCS!

Lorain County Speedway will host the USAC Midwest Focus Midget Series Saturday, June 2.
A total of 28 races are listed on the preliminary 2012 USAC Midwest Focus Midget schedule announced today, which includes both dirt and paved races.
The series opens with events at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, NC which award points toward both the Midwest and Eastern championships. August 10 and 11 races at Plymouth, Ind. and Morris, Ill. also award points toward both series championships.
Two dirt and 10 paved ovals comprise the schedule, with new venues at Norton, Lorain and Painesville, Ohio and Springport, Mich.
Gas City and Montpelier, Ind. ovals return with dirt-track events, each hosting a half-dozen back-to-back races.
“We look forward to visiting some new tracks in Ohio in 2012,” states USAC’s James Spink. “Our dirt program has continued to grow for the Focus cars the last two seasons and we anticipate more of that this year.”
